Hosted in homes, cafes, and at our local writing center, gatherings offer informal opportunities for our members and volunteers to network with other writers, share their work, and talk about craft and community.

In 2012, we launched regular literary salons for 49 Writers members and their guests, hosted by Anchorage members in their homes, to provide writers with the opportunity to connect with each other while sharing their work in a series of readings.

We continue these gatherings in 2014 and hope to introduce them to other communities around the state. If you are a member living outside Anchorage and would like more information about starting literary salons in your community, feel free to contact us. Not a member or volunteer yet? Sign up today!

Every January, we hold Resolve to Write events organized by members in different communities. Gather with us while we share our writing resolutions for the new year. If you are a writer living outside Anchorage and would like to host a Resolve to Write event, contact us for ideas and assistance.
